› About Me
I have had an interest in photography for 30 years, but it is only in the last 5 years it has become more than a passing interest again.
I’ve gone from starting off with a Praktica MTL3 35mm, with quite a few cameras in between. Finally settling on the Canon 1Dmk3, which I use along with a 50D, these are used in conjunction with Canons 'L' type lens's.
I worked on a local newspaper for a while which gave me an understanding for thinking on my feet to get a picture and working to a timescale. But now my niche is sports photography where I like nothing better than being outdoors pitchside at the Gnoll, home of the welsh all blacks, Neath RFC, where i am currently their official photographer.
Also i am accredited to to the FAW and the RFL. For which I have the necessary PLI to cover all aspects of match photography.
Along with Welsh Premiership rugby with Neath RFC i have also covered Rugby League with the Celtic Crusaders and South Wales Scorpions, football from Welsh Premiership sides such as Neath AFC and Port Talbot AFC up to full internationals with the Wales 'A' team, U21 Mens and Ladies teams.
